[Morphix-devel] AutoTesting Down

Hi All,

AutoTesting machine is down at the moment. Sounds like a HD failure or
overheating.  Really down at the moment no network - so need to hook
up a monitor to see how broken.

Expect the machine to be down for day(s) rather than hours.

Ouch, but thanks for the heads-up. If there's any permanent damage let
me know, Morphix still has a bit of cash left on the paypal account.

Yep HD failure. Well I sure a HD is not meant to sound like its
actually screaming....

A replacement HD would be nice.

However, this is the 2nd HD that has broken whilst being used for
AutoTesting. It may be that the couple of Gigs of captured screen
shots per AutoTesting video puts quite a strain on a Hard Drive.  On
the overhand these have been re-cycled HDs. Full Disclosure.

Got new HD, but away for the weekend. Expect to have AutoTesting back
up at the end of next week.

AutoTesting back up. Minor changes:-
 * Running on Debian-Lenny
 * Qemu uses vnc.
 * Lock File. (Thanks Jure) Less dependent upon time that bases and
main are uploaded.

Only one working video from today, full set of videos planned for tomorrow.
