I noticed that after the installation, when I logout of=20 > the CD-based Morphix, it shows some error messages to the effect of=20 > "useradd command not found". Ouch. By the looks of it the regular user wasn't added (and possibly the root users password wasn't enabled). Was the partition large enough for the install? You could try setting the password by hitting shift at the lilo prompt and entering 'linux init=3D/bin/sh'. This should boot and give you a console right away with which would allow you to set the password manually... although I do find this a very strange issue you're having. > I don't see anything on the Wiki about this. Should I be doing=20 > something after the installation completes - or is there anything I can=20 > do to overcome this issue? the complete install log (morphixinstaller -d or the terminal output) might give more clues. I'm not sure what's happening, you might want to try a forum search if others have had similar issues. cheers, Alex --=20 /------------------------------------------------------------------\ | Alex de Landgraaf | The cure for boredom is curiosity | | Student AI & CS, VU, A'dam | There is no cure for curiosity | | Phone: 06-16844084 | | | GPG: http://www.alextreme.org/key_alex.asc /'-'\ | | www.alextreme.org & www.morphix.org ( o o ) | \------------------------------------------oOO0--(_)--0OOo---------/ |
