I got Morhix-Gnome on the hard disk, but the useradd seems to be failing at install time. When I reboot, I get to the login screen, and cannot login as either root or my regular userid. I know the passwords are correct. I noticed that after the installation, when I logout of the CD-based Morphix, it shows some error messages to the effect of "useradd command not found". I don't see anything on the Wiki about this. Should I be doing something after the installation completes - or is there anything I can do to overcome this issue? O.k., it wasn't an official Debian set, but I think I just didn't quite grasp the process. I'm used to being able to select my packages graphically. >> >> > >Reading the friendly manual tends to help :) > > > |
