User space utils in mainmod (or a minimod) as long as the init scripts in base 
don't use them.

That's the way I would go about it... But as Alex pointed out in another 
thread, there are "issues" with using ndiswrapper - Not the package it's 
self, but the nature of the M$ binary drivers. These are generally closed, 
proprietary binaries, and quite likely with restrictive licenses..
