Hi All, (Sorry if this is double post wrong to address) I put together a little python script, live-xmaker. [1][2][3]. Live-xmaker is a command line front-end to live-helper, inspired by morphix-mmaker[4][5] (written by Alex de Landgraaf). This allows all the configurations for a liveCD build to be specified in one XML file. For example:- live-xmaker --xml /usr/share/live-xmaker/templates/lightgui_all.xml --output ./lightgui.iso 1: http://autotesting.livecd.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=live-xmaker.git;a=summary 2: git clone git://autotesting.livecd.org/git/live-xmaker.git 3: http://autotesting.livecd.org/debs/live-xmaker_0.1-1_i386.deb 4: http://www.morphix.org 5: http://www.morphix.org/doc/how_tos/all_man_pages/html/ar01s07.html Example templates show what options are currently from a complex example [6] to more simple examples[7][8]. 6: http://autotesting.livecd.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=live-xmaker.git;a=blob_plain;f=templates/lightgui_all.xml 7: http://autotesting.livecd.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=live-xmaker.git;a=blob_plain;f=templates/lightgui.xml 8: http://autotesting.livecd.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=live-xmaker.git;a=blob_plain;f=templates/very-simple-xfce.xml I plan to update live-xmaker with all the possible options available via live-helper. Feedback is very welcome. I have also cc'ed the morphix-developers mailing list as it may pique the interest of follow morphers. Enjoy, Brendan M. Sleight |
