Yes, it sounds as though morph and the application trying to use it are getting String.class from different classloaders. Libraries that deal extensively with class equality, AFAIK, can either compare classes by name (ugh!) or use .equals() which, not being overridden in Class.class, is equivalent to ==. Your best bet is to do what you can to eliminate classloader weirdness in your application deployment setup. Do you know if earlier versions of WAS suffer from the same problem? If you are using RAD, you may have additional test environments available to you for testing.
