Oh boy, digging into ancient history here ;)  I wrote this in the 
history portion of the website: "Removed the GraphTransformer interface 
and renamed the graphTransformer property of BaseTransformer back to 
nestedTransformer"  I am having trouble recalling exactly, but I believe 
GraphTransformer was an interface I was using to help me when performing 
graph transformations.  I basically was using it as an implementation 
crutch and I felt it was not appropriate to include in the API so I 
removed it.
