Is there anybody who has found a way to make everything
work on a server where PHP runs in safe-mode? I can't
change this setting, as I use a hired place. The
problems all depend on the more.groupware scripts
writing folders and files as the server ID. The owner
becomes httpd (the Apache daemon), I do understand why.
But folders owned by httpd aren't writeable by my
site's ID!
I have removed & replaced several folder thru my FTP so
they become owned by my account and made many things
work this way. But especially the webmail module won't
work. I can see it, and it collects mail, but the items
are not saved so the contents are invisible.
Please, help me with any hints on how to solve this! As
safe-mode PHP becomes more popular all the time, I
think many people would benefit, and make
more.groupware's popularity increase if we can work
this out!
