Hi
It may happen when system receives lots of connections which are quickly
closed.
We are working on "persistent connections" (dig in the archive of the group)
and it would help.
Kind regards
Michal

Subject: [Moosefs-users] TCP: time wait bucket table overflow (CT0)
Hi,
I'm getting a lot of errors on both chunkserver dmesg:
TCP: time wait bucket table overflow (CT0)
TCP: time wait bucket table overflow (CT0)
TCP: time wait bucket table overflow (CT0)
TCP: time wait bucket table overflow (CT0)
Googling around, seems a problem of exhaustion of available sockets and
a good workaround seems to enable tcp_tw_recycle
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_tw_recycle
TCP_WAIT connection dropped from 4859 sockets to near 0 in the next few
minutes.
Anyone got this issue with latest MooseFS under Debian Squeeze?
Thanks.
