Is the update as simple as building RPM's with spec which passed through
here, and installing via RPM update?

That was an unofficial url. Please use only rpmforge, 1.6.16 is available,
i386 and x86_64, for C3 through C5.
(I'll be offline for a week from now on, have fun with mfs !)
