At our company we have two vmware machines run in a production environment.
One image has now about 4.5GB, the second about 2.5GB. Both images expand as
the virtual machine needs more space, there is Linux installed. Images are
stored in MooseFS with goal=2. We do not notice any performance drawbacks
though the machines are quite busy.
Kind regards

Subject: [Moosefs-users] Using MooseFS as a VM diskimage storage
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has experience with using MFS to store disk images
used by Xen or KVM virtual machines?
If yes, are there any known issues with this setup, be it performance or
other?
/Oli
