Hi!
sessions*.mfs files remember the clients' session parameters (like clients
root directory, is read-write or read-only, uids and gids mappings, etc.).
When you lose such a file you should remount the client (before 1.6.19) and
after 1.6.19 session file would be recreated automatically. So you do not
need to copy these files when restoring, they would be recreated during
mount.
Kind regards
Michal

Subject: [Moosefs-users] sessions.mfs and mfs restore on failover
Hi, all,
There is a sessions_ml.mfs on metalogger backuping metadata. But
sessions.mfs is not mentioned in
http://www.moosefs.org/news-reader/items/metadata-ins-and-outs.html.
What is put in sessions.mfs ? and do I need copy sessions_ml.mfs to
sessions.mfs when restore metadata from metalogger data ??
Thanks
