Hi there, If I have 4 servers with 2 disks (so 8 disks) and I set a goal of 2 on all my files and directories. The goal regards to servers or disks? For example, could a file be replicated between 2 disks on the same server or MFS forces the replication to be done between 2 servers? I the first case, if I want a actual failover solution, I need a goal of 3. Thanks for your answer. -- Samuel HASSINE Président Olympe Network - 31 avenue Sainte Victoire, 13100 Aix-en-Pce Tel. : +33(0)6.89.50.39.65 Site : www.olympe-network.com |

To the chunk servers. Hi again, I need help about solving this issue because I think that files in errors hang and block the file operations. Best regards. Hi, For the moment we have only 4 disks. 4 will be added after the end of the synchronisation (with our old GlusterFS partition). Regards. Hi! We saw in the CGI monitor that you had 34 missing chunks lately. When you had the master crash it could happen that files which were being saved during master failure got corrupted. If the files are of little importance (temp files, cache, logs, etc) you should just delete them (setting trash time to 0). When a file was important you may try to run "mfsfilerepair" on it. If chunk of this file exists and only have the wrong version (because of unfinished save), the data of the file should appear. If not, the missing chunks would be just filled with 0s. Hope it helps Regards Michal -----Original Message----- From: Samuel Hassine, Olympe Network [mailto:sam...@ol...] Sent: Thursday, February 24, 2011 10:16 AM To: moo...@li...
