Dear MooseFS-Users, I need to reload the operating system on my master. As some of you may know, CentOS 8 rather abruptly became EOL, and various repos have stopped working for it. I'm encountering more and more issues so I thought I'd jump ship and move to a new Linux distro before I regret it. In terms of reloading the OS, what would happen if I shutdown moosefs-master, shutdown the linux server, reloaded it with a new OS and loaded moosefs-master back on to it? Is it as simple as this, or would I need to backup various master metadata before doing this? I'm aware that switching masters is risky, so I am fine having some downtime while shutting down and re-installing the master onto the same machine. My cluster looks like this: - server 1: master+chunkserver - server 2: metalogger+chunkserver - server 3: metalogger+chunkserver Any help appreciated.
