[MooseFS-Users] Project status

Hi,

I've been using MooseFS for personal use for 6-7 years now, and it's been rock-solid: I never had to complain about it. However, since a few years the public activity of the project on GitHub and the ML has dramatically decreased. So much that I'm beginning to wonder whether the free version is still supported, and if it is, how long it will remain so.

Could some official from the project make a quick statement about the status of the GPL version ? It would help people like me to decide whether the free version of MooseFS is still a viable solution for both new and old deployments.

Could someone also confirm that MooseFS 4.0 will never be released under the GPL ? It was announced more than 3 years ago and never released publicly since; I suppose this means it will never be.
