I just tried again with 3.0.84 on FreeBSD 10.3. Same issue:

$ uname -a
FreeBSD hostname 10.3-RELEASE-p7 FreeBSD 10.3-RELEASE-p7 #0: Thu Aug 11 18:38:15 UTC 2016     ro...@am...:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC  amd64

$ pkg info | grep moosefs
moosefs3-client-3.0.84         MooseFS client tools

I did not test with FreeBSD 11.0, as it is not yet supported and there is no official repository available for that very recent release. What's more, 3.0.84 haven't reached the FreeBSD ports tree yet.
