[MooseFS-Users] Problems with MooseFS + git + Dropbox

I'd like to make you aware of another problem that has appeared in our MooseFS environment (which, by the way, we think is really great overall!)


I have a user who has a cloned git repository in his MooseFS home directory that is part of a Dropbox directory.  He found that his Dropbox service always crashes when trying to sync with this git directory tree in his Dropbox directory.  I had him copy his Dropbox directory to a local disk and he was able to synchronize the directory without any problems.


I attempted the same thing using a git clone of the MooseFS source in my own MooseFS home directory and saw the same behavior.


?We use Ubuntu 16.04 and MooseFS 3.0.79 through 3.0.81.
