[MooseFS-Users] BUG NOTIFICATION - MooseFS 3.0.75, 3.0.76 and 3.0.77

Dear MooseFS Users,

Today we have identified serious bug that affects MooseFS versions:
- 3.0.75 Pro and Community Edition 
- 3.0.76 Pro and Community Edition  
- 3.0.77 Pro and Community Edition 

The bug manifests in mfschunkserver component in rare and specific conditions involving sparse files (containing blocks of zeros larger than 512) and might lead to silent chunk corruption.

Solution
If you are running one of the affected versions we strongly recommend updating as soon as possible (starting from mfschunkserver components) to MooseFS 3.0.78 that was released today. In case of any questions please contact MooseFS Support (su...@mo... <mailto:su...@mo...>).
