There is no such chance neither theoretically nor practically - of course if all your disks are OK. I mean there might happen a situation, that during start, MooseFS Chunkserver detects a broken disk and then some undergoal chunks may appear, but this is normal and actually does not connected with upgrade from MFS 2.0 to 3.0 at all. We ran a lot of tests of MooseFS 3 in past months, then we decided to deploy it on our production environments, and then, after over a month of running MooseFS 3 on our production environments and no error reports, we decided to release it to You - Users, to let you use really, really well-tested version.
