Thank you for this information.
You are right. There is a problem with setting up default permissions.

We would like to inform that problem appear only in MooseFS 2.0.
MooseFS 3.0 has no problems with ACL.

Please consider update to version 3.0.
Next week we will announce that version 3.0 is stable.
