Dear Sir or Madam, I just tried to install Moosefs on one of our new servers, and it seems that the stable repo contains the packet for moosefs-client 3.0.64-1. We use Ubuntu Precise and this package source: deb http://ppa.moosefs.com/stable/apt/ubuntu/precise precise main I also tried this, with the same effect: deb http://ppa.moosefs.com/apt/ubuntu/precise precise main When I try to mount a share provided by our 2.x MFS Master, I get: incompatible mfsmaster version I was looking for an announcement on the stable release for this version, but I couldn't find any. Also there seems to be no documentation for the update from 2.x to 3.x. Is it possible that the version 3 was accidentially put into the stable branch? Kind regards, Philipp |
