[MooseFS-Users] Network overhead and best method of sharing

Hi All,

when accessing MFS from a LAN machine other than the MFS member machines,
is it preferred to mount MFS on a "as near as possible" or, better, "MFS
local" machine (e.g. Master or Chunkserver) and then share with NFS or
directly mount MFS on the accessing client?
What is the method that delivers better performance/less protocol overhead
on the LAN?
