I suspect you won't get Gemius / Core Technology to encourage using MooseFS on OpenBSD in production, since it's not one of their officially supported platforms. On the other hand, FreeBSD is supported, and I can confirm that MooseFS compiles, and works perfectly, without any changes at all, on NetBSD. Therefore, I would be quite surprised if it didn't also turn out to do the same running on OpenBSD.
