We doubt that you will achieve better performance in this configuration.
In our manual we don't advice to use such a configuration.

But during our next internal tests we will check it.
By the way in our last test in 10Gb LAN with 10 chunkservers each 3x
7200 RPM HDD we achieved 900MB/s on one mfsmount during writing file.

P.S.
If you really don't care about redundancy you can try to set-up RAID0
for ssd devices and connect it to mfschunkserver.
Remember that we don't advice to use RAID in MooseFS but in this
specific case you can try this configuration.
