Unfortunately in the FreeBSD ports collection there is a 1.6.27-5 version of the moosefs port :--(               
Is it planned to update it ?

The update from 2.0.x CE version to 2.0.60 is similar to upgrade from 1.6.x. You need to remove old packages and install 2.0.60 that should start with all config and metadata files from previous version. 

We recommend starting from the master server.

Before any deinstallation/installationplease make sure that you have valid backup of your config files and metadata files.

Hi,

I'm using MooseFS CE and was trying to update to 2.0.60 but can't,
because the package names were changed (from moosefs-ce-xxx to
moosefs-xxx).  Do I have to rebuild the whole FS?
