Hi It's look like you have some files in trash. Default trash time value is 7 days, after this period files will start deleting automatically from trash. All deletions in trash changing free space in MooseFS and this causing other algorithms to run. Mainly replication algorithms working in background to care about equal alignment of chunks on all chunkserver.
