It works OK for me on my Fedora 16 systems. I think I have a stock setup, except I've added "ignoregid" to /etc/mfsexports.cfg: * / rw,alldirs,ignoregid,maproot=0 and boosted: CHUNKS_WRITE_REP_LIMIT = 5 CHUNKS_READ_REP_LIMIT = 15 I couldn't make F16 + NFSv4 or glusterfs work for home folders. moosefs has been the smoothest system so far.
