We use the same machines at 3 GHz (Intel Xeon X3470 @ 2.93GHz, 16 GByte
RAM). You are right, CPU usage is barely noticeable. To make better use
of resources we put some virtual machines (Webserver, Kerberos, AFS-DB)
also on those nodes.
