The Moosefs volume does not have a hard maximum size restriction. Generally the MFS master process requires more RAM proportional to the number of files stored within the moosefs volume (approximately 300MB per million files) (see the Documentation page for more details on sizing). There was a 2TB max (individual) file limitation (see the FAQ). This has been removed as of 2.6.24 release, now increased to 128 PB (see release notes).
