Hi again, Yesterday I had a short chat in the irc channel with an admin. One of my questions was if moosefs is still alive - the news section on the homepage is quite old and I didn't see any commits in the repo. I was informed that moosefs is still alive and a new version is about to be released (great news btw :). But the git repo gets only updated after a stable release. I'd like to suggest to move the repo to github and push whenever changes are made. I think this'd give the project a great boost in terms of collaboration like contributing patches (pull requests), reporting bugs etc. Even the manual, faq, etc. could be moved to the wiki. I saw someone already cloned the repo on github, so others seem to be interested in this as well. What do you think? Corin |
