We are currently using traditional, reliable Ext3 with no issues. It has been suggested that perhaps XFS would be faster/better or maybe Ext4 or even btrfs. We have had some bad experiences with XFS in the past, but we assume the XFS devs have improved that and/or the MooseFS goal setting architecture makes an XFS blowout on a single chunker less of a problem (assuming they don't all go at once). Any comments? -bill |
