the machine has 32 gb ram, while mfsmaster eats only 3gb, so I don't
think this is the reason. It may have happened while mfs was especially
loaded (master also runs as CS on top of a 12 disks raid 10 volume).
About Ricardo's errors, these sound not to be the same. Here, some
double free (ou whatever else) makes glibc grumpy. Unfortunately, I
can't play with cables as this is a prod system…
