Hi! Generally speaking there is no limit - if you have enough RAM in the master server to handle the metadata. There are some installations of one petabyte in size (see http://www.moosefs.org/who-is-using-moosefs.html). Of course, if you have many files (hundreds of millions) and lots of file operations per second the system will hung up (take into consideration also disk speeds and network performance).
