Damaged disk is serving by one of your chunkservers, You should remove this
disk from the chunkserver's mfshdd config file. MFSMaster is not in charge
to remove disks.

MFS starts replication but the replication process will be done slowly (It's
configurable). When your disk marked damaged you should see many files with
valid copies less than their goal (You can see them on CGIServer), in
replication process these files will come back to their goal slowly.
