[Moosefs-users] "Damaged" disk status?

Hi.

One of our disks has died, and we had to replace it.

Now I see in MFS CGI the status "damaged" for the disk. Once we bring the
new disk online, and initialize the chunkserver directory on it, will MFS
recognize it, clear out any metadata for this disk and start working with it
normally? Also, about the data placed on disk - does MFS starts replicating
it in order to keep the goal value, once the disk becomes in damaged state,
or/and becomes unavailable?
