From my practice:

(1) Set up new chunk server and make it available on your MFS setup
(2) On the chunk server (Foobar) that want to destroy, mark your disks
as "removal" and reload/restart process
(3) Wait for the complete status of replication
(4) Shutdown the chunk server (Foobar)
