[Moosefs-users] mfs's knowledge of file system to server mapping

I have a question. 
I setup 8 chunk servers, each with 6 hdd's. I tried various file
systems(mdraid 0 and 5 and jbod) layouts with a goal of 2. I was wondering
if mfs knows that if I have 6 individual file systems per server, that it
shouldn't store two copies of a file on the same server. It would be much
easier to add additional disks further down the line if I don't have to
expand or grow a raid file systems on each server. But I want to make sure
that mfs knows not to store copies of files on 

Otherwise I was very happy with the testing so far.
