In problem one do you ask about 3000 million files? You would need about 3
000 * 300 MB = 878 GB of RAM which would be rather impossible. 

 

Yes, clients need to use FUSE, there is no support for NFS. And on our
roadmap there is no plan to support NFS, though we could think about
developing such a module for you commercially.

First,thanks for your early reply ,now,i  ask more questions as follows: 

problem one: as you say in previous letters "there is also no limit for
number of files in the system.There are installations with 100 million
files(whether to support 3 billion file in the system??)."and i want to ask
:About MooseFS, if we insert just 4-8GB of RAM into the master
server,whether it support the storage 500T, 3 million files, operating 
500G times a day"?? 

problem two: as we know,for the moment,the clients need to use FUSE and if i
use NFS,wether to support"7 mul 24 hours"model??
