Hi!

 

Limit of 2TiB is for a single file. There is no limit for the total size of
all files in the system. 

 

There is also no limit for number of files in the system. There are
installations with 100 million files.

 

RAM needed for the master server depends only on the number of files in
your system (not on their contents or size). Please have a look here:

into the master server. 

However,today i see the FAQ about "

 i have some doubts,now i want to ask  you some questions ，please answer
me : 

problem one:  About MooseFS,what size does it support the single file? and
what size about the total numbers of file?? 

problem two: As your answer"For 3 million files you need to insert just 4-
8GB of RAM into the master server. ", 
wether it supports the situation "About MooseFS, if we insert just 4-8GB of
RAM into the master server,it'll support the storage 500T, 3 million files,
operating 
500G times a day"??
