I am a college student come from china, and my English is not good.I write
the letter in order to ask you some questions about the background of
Moosefs.


Frist, did the Moosefs originate in the United States and when is it first
made publicly ?

[MB] No, MooseFS is developed in Poland, Warsaw. It was open sourced in May
2008.


Secondly, which company or who developed the software ? 

[MB] It's developed by Gemius, a Polish research company with several
branches abroad. Have a look here: http://gemius.com/pl/about_company 


Thirdly,Is there any famous IT company using MooseFS, and can you tell me
some successful cases?
