Hello guys, I know that moosefs is rather more dedicated for LAN and extra high speed solutions, although I use it over internet. We store files below 5 megs there like office documents, and some kind of useful stuff that could be used before. Right now I experience client problems who upload the data. Say I do winscp to the storage. Once a file is uploaded it's being distributed onto other nodes. My question is why the client waits until all files are redistributed (it actually looks like the upload hangs on 100% for some time and when the file is on other nodes it releases 'the lock'). I figured out that once the file is uploaded and I stop the wait-time (simply by killing the winscp process) the file is there anyway. So why to wait? Peter |
