Ok, I found the metadata blog post and that answered my questions: http://www.moosefs.org/news-reader/items/metadata-ins-and-outs.html Great article, cleared up a lot! But I have another question, I am running mfsmetarestore on one of my loggers, and I keep getting errors, it is either: 174660: error: 3 (No such file or directory) or 873: error: 32 (Data mismatch) and I remember one being an error 7 Can anyone point me in the right direction to figure out how to solve these errors? My guess is that since I have been failing over masters using ucarp that I got some inconsistent data, but I am not sure. Thanks!
