According to the web interface, how many items do you have in the trash?

I am having trouble accessing the trash on my mfs, I can mount the meta and I see the trash directory and the restricted directory, but when I ls the trash directory the ls command hangs and I need to kill -9 the ls process. 


I can mount the normal mfs filesystem without any problems and read/write, I just can't dig around in the trash. Am I missing something?
