[Moosefs-users] Changing metadata permissions

Hi.

I'm trying to set-up an external process which would back-up the metadata.

Unfortunately the metadata files have read by mfs user only.

Is it possible to pass any parameter to MFS to create files readable by
other users as well?
Or the only solution is to sudo the backing up process to MFS user?
