Where it's better to backup, on master or on metalogger? [MB] Master on its own creates binary metadata.mfs.back and text changelogs and you cannot disable it. Metalogger is optionally. If you ask about recovering from the backup if the master server had only power outage and has no hdd problems, you can restore metadata from the master itself. In a more serious damages to master you would need to restore meta from the metalogger.
