You should not be worried. This is just a structure of your data. In one of our environments there is 3,934,705 directories and MooseFS deals with it. Subject: [Moosefs-users] Is it harmful when too many directories exist in moosefs Hi, all, In my moosefs, from mfs.cgi, I find : there are 97374 directories, 63279 files, and 160653 fs object in total. there are far more directories than files, I want to know if too many directories would eat up too much metadata memory, and slow down metamaster ? Is the situation dangerous ?? thanks -- kuer |
