Dave Beeman reminded me to post this for the record... As development of Genesis scripting goes forward, it is important to have a designator for constants that are local to a file. Otherwise the definitions of contants depend on the order of the include files. By having local constants, you can have the definition of a particular neuron in a file with the parameters specified as constants at the top. Global constants are a source of a LOT of insidious errors. Thanks, Kay |
