#1 moodle_enrol_manual_enrol_users or moral equivalent

Greetings.
I have so far been unable to find (within current WS limitations: no way to get course/user/role ids, etc) a way to enroll a user to a course. Is support for moodle_enrol_manual_enrol_users or similar method forthcoming?
