#2 External authentication realms

I'm guessing that along the line it will be useful to
support external user authentication.

This could be fairly easily implemented in the security
filter by creating new user records if one can't be found.

The only problem will be the extra meta information
stored on the user record. In the event that this user
is truly different to the old one, but is inheriting
their settings. Too bad.
