When attempting to save your existing database with the same name ( overwrite it ), but write only the name of the file instead of adding the .mmb extension, it doesn't work and an error message window appears.

As from today, it doesn't let me "save as" any database even if I include the .mmb extension or not. So I cant overwrite the file and I have to save the file in a new different directory. This needs fixing.

Thankyou for providing a picture of what is happening.

It appears that you are using version 0.9.8.0, but the release version that I tested this on shows the file name being used and warns about the same file, and will allow the user to over write the file if they choose to do so.

As for the file extension, MMEX automatically assumes a .mmb extension and will add it if no extension is given. The user can provide a different extension if they choose to do so.

It apears I did not proceed to next stage, and you are correct. It will not allow you to overrite the file.

As the name suggests, Save Database As Something Else, where the "Something Else" is implied. The database will automatically be saved as it gets updated when transactions are made, and finally when MMEX shuts down, so saving it to the same file is invalid.

The file can still be saved to the same directory using a different name, and to another directory using the same name.
